  • Wire preparation (with manual and with automatic equipment), crimping, soldering, etc…

  • Use battery powered drivers and assembly tools (i.e. torque driver, calipers, bench test equipment)  to assemble lighting components.

  • Build and modify light fixture assemblies in accordance with production quality standards at required production rates.

  • Examines parts for defects

  • Test unit if required in order to locate defects, measure performance, determine need for adjustment.

  • Replace defective components.

  • Repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.

  • Enters information on production records, logs, and other report forms.

  • Maintain compliance with regulated standards and procedures of assemblies.

  • Inventory management e.g. keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate.

  • Dispatch management e.g. planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods; ensure the timely delivery to customer and stores are no mismatch.

  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and transport companies

  • Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone; and co-ordinate with sales team & distributors, timely reply of mails.

  • Monitors process execution and other operational performance standards

  • Generate regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

  • Briefing team leaders on a daily/weekly basis

  • Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment and oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment etc. and replacing them when required

  • Ensure products are stocked properly and safely

  • Focus on process improvements for all warehouse functions.

  • Reviews performance against goals and standards.

  • Coordinates communications with various levels of corporate and field personnel, vendors, etc. to maintain superior service for all inbound and outbound shipment activity.

  • Develops, communicates, and executes a strategic direction for the warehouse that is consistent with the company’s vision and customer opportunities.

  • Participates in planning and developing growth activities that are related to sales.
