Our client is a high-tech company that specializes in designing and manufacturing hardware and software for force-acquisition. This business was founded over 30 years ago and is one of the few companies in the world competing for a specific niche of the force-acquisition market. Their work depends on multiple engineering disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.

Job Description:
The Transducer Assembly Technician helps to prepare and assemble the force measuring transducers which form the heart of nearly all company products.

Job Duties:
-Prepare transducer bodies for strain gage placement and bonding using a sand blasting machine and various cleaning agents
-Make transducer blanks to ensure gages are precisely placed in the required position and orientation
-Precise adhesive bonding of the strain gages and wiring tabs to marked transducer blanks and elevated temperature cure the assembly using s specific heating protocol
-Perform high quality point to point wire soldering on small assemblies
-Perform quality checks on finished assemblies
-Repair of assembled transducers which are found to be defective
-Maintain production records
-Maintain a well organized clean and safe work environment
-Train in other areas of production to provide support outside of strain gage assembly when needed
-Provide feedback on assembly documentation and help in its creation when needed

Job Requirements:
-1-2 years of experience soldering electronics and reading schematics
-Ability to work under a microscope for hours at a time
-Strong commitment to quality
-Attention to detail
-Good listener and communicator
-Work well with others
-Ability to use hands and precisely manipulate very small parts and assemblies
-Forklift driving experience and basic woodworking experience not required but are a plus
