Assembles components, sub-components or sub-assemblies into a finished good assembly per the customer's requirements.


  • Installs, assembles and inspects all components being used to assemble final level, per assembly instructions and IPC standards
  • Ability to compare parts to the assembly instructions and validate that the component or sub assembly is built to requirements of the customer
  • Ability to assemble electronic and sheet metal sub-components
  • Ability to assemble final components onto a finished PCBA and Test
  • Ability to assemble the sub-components together to create a large finished good assembly
  • Good hand and eye coordination is important in this function. The employee will be asked to use their hands as well as air/power tools per work instructions and IPC workmanship standards.
  • Ability to comprehend assembly instructions, what is required to make a quality part in the required time period
  • Review set up time and time standard in the assembly instructions, meet or exceed the time standard requirements
  • Verify physical components to documentation before beginning assembly work
  • Use proper tooling and assembly instructions when performing your job
  • Identify non-conforming material and immediately notify Lead or Supervisor
