Adecco is hiring for an Assembly Technician in Irvine, CA!! This Assembly Technician is with an Aerospace company in the local area. Temp Position 3-5 months.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties will be assigned as necessary

  • Perform complex and precise electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Technician will be required to perform any combination of the following duties but not limited to: cleaning, packaging, drilling, assembly, and test of components of various materials, such as plastic, metal, aluminum, rubber and stainless steel. 
  • Technician will be given individual components and required to ultrasonic clean and perform full assembly and test from any combination of: drawings, assembly procedures or verbal instructions in a team environment or individually. 
  • Will assemble parts by hand or powered tools for more rapid assembly, certain assemblies require using riveting machines, drill presses. 
  • If required, Technician will perform functional test for quality control, vendors, or FAA representatives and/or source inspectors. 
  • Testing requires using pressure up to 150 psi in the form of dry air and up to 3000 psi in the form of nitrogen for high pressure lines and pressure gauges.
  • Perform complex and precise electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Typically involves a variety of operations that require a thorough understanding of the functional operation of the subassemblies as well as the finished product.
  • Work from and provide feedback to complex and detailed manufacturing documentation and/or verbal and written instructions.
  • Work with, and help develop specialized fixtures, test equipment, and procedures.
  • Collect data; update and maintain electronic and written records.
  • Complete tasks within standard times and per established schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Suggest enhancements to process and department layout, and help implement once approved.

Skills and knowledge:

  • Knowledge of pressure gauges, power supplies, torque meters and various other measuring instruments (helpful)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
  • Some work experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, basic soldering and electronic knowledge (helpful)
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English fluently
  • Mechanical aptitude, with finger dexterity.
  • Ability to perform math functions such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and perform calculations involving fractions and percentages
  • Basic proficiency with computers
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary
  • Must be able to properly and safely wear all required PPE such as safety glasses, close toed shoes,
  • Basic analytical skills to identify problems and identify possible solutions to production or processing problems
