MANPOWER HAS A JOB FOR YOU! One of our top clients in the Energy Industry in Cranberry/Warrendale, PA area is looking for Assembly Technicians. This assignment is to last approximately 9 months with the possibility of longer. Pay rate is $14/hr. 7am-3pm Monday-Friday.
Outline of Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to the following):
–Complete electro-mechanical assembly of Transportation products according to drawings, bills of materials, procedures, check sheets, and other work instructions.
–Use various hand and power tools correctly and safely to assemble sub-assemblies and products.
–Conduct rework / repair of non-conforming product as instructed.
–Perform verification of subassemblies and/or assemblies for defects by operating measurement devices and visual checking. Identify and correct defects appropriately.
–Complete assembly record documentation in accordance with company and divisional policies and procedures such as check sheets, production sheets and other paperwork.
–Provide input and/or assistance to others developing processes, procedures and instructions as necessary.
–Safely and correctly operate all equipment, including the following: powered industrial truck, pallet jack, and overhead crane.
–Perform other duties as assigned.
–Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product.
–Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.
–May participate in making management decisions affecting the work. Team leaders who work as part of the team should be included.
–Ability to safely and correctly use hand and power tools and measurement devices.
–Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
–Ability to inspect sub-assemblies and assemblies.
–Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
–Ability to judge the quality of sub-assemblies and assemblies produced compared to established standards, drawings, and instructions.
–Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.
–Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks and equipment, such as fork trucks and overhead cranes.
–Ability to stand, sit, crawl, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and reach above the shoulders as required to perform essential job functions.
Starting Pay Rate: $14.00/hr
